Litter Born: 19th August 2016

Sana (Capehope Injasana) goes back to Whiz, the Capehope foundation dog, on her mother's side, and through Whiz to the reputable Dryden and Mindrum ISDS lines. Her maternal grand-sire was Mary Ray's Quincy (Woodsorrel Red Wine), who has sired several agility champions including Forbyfor Turbo Diesel and Paws for Breath. Her father, Bill (ISDS), comes from a line of ISDS sheep trialing International and National champions that has been in the same shepherding family for almost 40 years.

Sana, like her father is a 'thinking dog', who needs to think things through to reassure herself that what she's doing is right before launching into work all guns blazing. Around the house she is busy-busy and active, wanting to be part of everything.

Sire - Ben (ISDS) (Rooten Burn Ben) goes back through his dam, Telf Maid, to another reputable and succesful ISDS line that has been in the Longton family for generations. Ben's sire, Rainow Todd (ISDS 295153) goes back to Aled Owen's succesful Welch ISDS line. Todd has sired many pups  competing successfully in ISDS sheep trialling, agility, obedience and working trials.

This is young Ben's first litter.

Although he works for his living on a Lancashire farm, he has the nature of a biddable family pet. He is a genuinely nice little dog, willing to please, and with a cheerful, exurberant, friendly, easy-going and confident attitude to work, and life in general.

Day 11:

Pups have progressed from the black slug stage of puppy development to drunk lizard stage. Mr. Perfects eyes are open. Annies eyes will be open by this evening. Others maybe tomorrow. They're starting to mouth each others legs, ears, noses, bark, and walk - but spend more time falling over and upside down than with 4 feet on the ground at the same time. Hilarious. Better entertainment than Donald Trump
