About Sana
Sana has not competed much at agility owing to injury (both Toni's and then her own badly gashed leg in 2014) so she is one of the few Capehopes still in Grade 3 at the age of 4. She has the aptitude to be the 5th generation to reach Grade 7, she just needs the confidence that comes from experience, and her times and clear round placings are improving. Although she is not as gung-ho as her mother Didi, she is 'economical' like her great-grandmother Whiz: She knows when a turn is coming up without being cued, and has the build to turn on a sixpence.
Sana has made good progress in less athletic (for the handler) disciplines i.e. Heelwork to Music and Sheep Herding. Like her dam, Didi, she is keen to please, a fast learner and a slow forgetter. Like her father, Bill, she is a 'thinking dog', who carefully thinks things through before launching in. She never tires of practicing the same tricks, and rarely gets frustrated learning new ones, so it's not surprising that she's made rapid progress in HTM, winning out of Starters in both Heelwork and Freestyle in her first season, and now competes in FS Intermediate and HW novice..
Like her dam Didi, Sana is another funny little dog with a cheeky attitude and a huge personality. Unlike Didi, she is busy-busy around the house, always wanting to be involved in everything. Unlike many of her maternal relations, she is cuddly and demonstrative, and enjoys doing anything - including riding on bicycles and lawnmowers, and sailing yachts - if the activity offers her an excuse to be physically close to her human.

Sana's Parents
Through her mother, Didi, Sana (Capehope Injasana FS St.Ex) goes back to Whiz, the Capehope foundation dog, and through Whiz to the reputable Dryden and Mindrum ISDS lines. Her maternal grand-sire was Mary Ray's Quincy (Ob.Ch. Woodsorrel Red Wine), who excelled at Obedience, Agility and HTM, and who sired several agility champions including Simon Peachey's Forbyfor Turbo Diesel and Dianne Talbot's Paws for Breath.
Her father, Bill (ISDS), comes from a line of ISDS sheep trialing dogs that have been in the same shepherding family for almost 40 years, and includes several International and National Champions.
